Indeed we do :) I'm halfway through the work week, and with some unusual and trying circumstances happening, I've ranched (my second love) more than I've photographed (my first love,) but it's just a "do what you've gotta do" kind of life, and "love what you're living,"  because when "what you've gotta do, is finally done,"  then "doing what you love..."

Are you ready for a change of pace in western art? Not a veering away from, so to speak, but just a boost in flair, color and perspective. As Amanda Smith, photographer and western photographic artist of Wyoming and the American West, I decided to take western art to a different level for me. A level that I have often thought about over the years, but just wasn't quite sure how it would be received. At first I thought "ah ha!" Amanda Smith Wyoming Electrified, and I think that worked great in the beginning in regards to an influx of new orders. However, I wanted more...I wanted to show the world what was actually in my heart and soul, not just what i felt was a new turning point for art. And so I dove in even further and decided it was time to let it all out. I began studying different angles, and paying attention to that feeling I used to get in my heart.when I knew I'd captured something spectacular. I dug down even deeper and created actions, layers and filters, along with artistic enhancements of the photos that I captured. I zeroed in on what made my heart and emotions jump and come to the surface,  and hopes that is what the viewers of my art would feel as well.  So far so good, I think.... moral of this post? If you dig deep enough into the heart of your creativity, and become brazen enough to share that with the world, you're probably on the right track.
